Anderson Community Television

Anderson Community Television is a Local Community Access Station that serves the residents of Anderson Township (Hamilton County, Ohio). ACTV provides programming through its four channels, and offers free training and equipment for residents to record, produce, and air their own shows on Time Warner Cable.

2010 Blue Chip Cable Access Winners

Winning in the Instructional/Educational category at the 2010 Blue Chip Cable Access Awards: Anne, Kayla & Gordon Schlegel for their program Tasty Treats from Anne's Kitchen

Anderson Community Television had four finalists in this year's Blue Chip Cable Access competition. Blue Chip recognizes excellence in community video from access stations in the Northern Kentucky and Southwest Ohio regions. ACTV finalists included Anne, Gordon & Kayla Schlegel for Tasty Treats from Anne's Kitchen, Janet McLaughlin for her program Travel talk, Ginny Frings for Safety Corner and Dean Fontaine for his graphics work. ACTV's programming is available on Time-Warner cable box channels 8/15 & 18 and on cable-ready TV channels 15/18 & 22 as well as On Demand channel 412. Anderson Township residents have free access to the ACTV facility, equipment and training.

Your own television program - everything included.

Studio space, cameras, lighting, editing bays and instruction are available free-of-charge. Residents are responsible for the cost of repairing or replacing damaged equipment or facilities. To use facilities, attend an orientation and training session and choose which the equipment to produce your show or record an event.
